Our first experience working with frozen cob wasn't as bad as I might expect. We used the bobcat to peel the frozen cap off of the cob pile, revealing the gooey cob beneath. Then we proceeded to build the chimney on the cob furnace. Meanwhile, Ryan was ordering ceramic honeycombs for us to play with as we try to create a superheated afterburner that will help the furnace burn almost anything cleanly.
