Windy is one of 23 statues located around the Brainerd Lakes area as part of the "Ox Trot ". The 5-foot high fiberglass statues are sponsored by area businesses, organizations and individuals and decorated by area artists.  The oxen will be on display from Fishing Opener through Labor Day.

The theme "Sustainablility Takes Flight"inspired artists Tony Powers and McKenzie Bass as they painted the Hunt Utilities Group Ox.  From the large roots, wings and bonsai tree of life down to the world in her eyes all aspects of windy represent the Earth and our environment.
