Yep, you read it right. As Paul demonstrated we can paint with mud, or rather cob - the clay, sand and straw mixture used around Campus. The cob was thinned using Enviroseal, a military grade soil stabilizer, and painted onto the west end of the Manifesting Building. ![]() Cob can be applied to buildings in this form, but for painting purposes it needed to be thinned down. ![]() Paul thins the cob with Enviroseal. ![]() Doug moistens the wall with Enviroseal, which will help the cob adhere more readily. ![]() Paul brushes mud on the wall. ![]() Dave, Dan and Rick pitch in and paint. ![]() The first layer is on the bottom half of the wall, now only two more coats...
