The pond holds water - well, kind of.  We determined the pond needs some TLC before it will perform like we want it to.  The first order of business is to see how much the water level drops when we're not adding to the pond.  This will give us an idea of how much area needs to be sealed.  Within a week the water level dropped and Jim coated the dry areas with clay, which will act as a sealant.
