Since 2003 we have been building the 70-acre campus in Pine River, MN. The campus serves as a location to practice our research and development (R&D), and as an educational resource where we learn and teach about the many aspects of resilient living. It has become the center of operations for HUG's mission and an environment for an information exchange. The Campus is also home to Happy Dancing Turtle and Rural Renewable Energy Alliance (RREAL). Our Goal: Resilient Living
Sustainable living means living in such a way that our present resources will continue to be available for future generations.
Resilient living is living sustainable and living well, even in the face of adversity.
We want to live comfortable, abundant and healthy lives as we experience change in climate, energy prices and economic security.
