We are using a variety of old and new technologies in our current research and development projects, which include: compact solar panels, heat storage, air handling, HUGNet, water reclamation, greenhouses, and composting toilet systems.


HUG Mission

Hunt Utilities Group will pursue research, development and application of technologies and methods that support sustainable living and environmental stewardship. We will foster entrepreneurship and community as we pursue the above goals.

 

Every time we analyze what we really want out of a job, a career, even a lifestyle, it always boils down to these basics:

Do Good, Have Fun & Make A Living At It!

This basic philosophy guides us as we create HUG and the research campus.

 

Another guiding philosophy is to "Shorten the Loop". Shorten the loop means...

  • Strengthen your local economy

  • Use local construction materials

  • Use local energy sources...preferably the sun

  • Raise much of your own food

  • Recycle much of your water

Ideally we see no waste... only resources.  Be a symbiant
